Although I very much wanted it, yet my eyelids were just so heavy that I couldn't get myself up. Yes,the work attachment is just for a mere 6 hours with 2 hours break in between. That sums up to be a total of 8 hours. Nevertheless, the amount of things to digest within this few hours is overwhelming. I've to get used to it!
Well, I ended up accompanying mum to see Uncle YanBor. Uncle YanBor is a certified clinic doctor who practices at SengKang/Punggol area. I'm not that sure which is it but I'm definitely sure that his clinic is at Riverside Plaza.
That's just one of his clinics that he own. Next to his clinic, he rented a portion of the dental clinic and practices Anesthetics.
He is someone who gives all his best to his paitent and I admire that. :D
So I did some studying while waiting for mum to finish her talk with Uncle YanBor.
Do you guys realise I don't blog for alternate days on weekdays? Haha.
I gather I've to obtain as much sleep as possible, so I forced myself to bed.
So, today was... overwhelming again.
I saw some surgeries which are the same ones that I saw on the previous attachments. Each and everytime, although the procedure may be the same, it just never fails to amaze me.
I've got to inject antibiotics, disect the aborted kitten.
When I disected the uterine horns, there was a total of 3 layers of tissues before the appearance of the amiotic sac.
What surprised me was that the these aborted kittens have individual placentas with their amiotic sac each!
From what I've read up on humans, even if a mother has twins, these twins share just ONE placenta but different amiotic sacs.
Woah. It's just amazingly amazing.

BoonBoon's a cat that the vet centre keeps at their backyard. He's cute huh! Also, he's one intelligent cat!
Also, Dr Chee informed me about the bladder stones situation that happened on a particular cat.
Oh... This poor one.
She gave me a brochure for me to read up more on it.
Well, in summary, bladder stones are actually the formation of crystals and organic material. These crystals may vary from Struvite crystals to Calcium Oxalate Crystals. These crystals will then 'crystalise' to form the stones that we know of, the bladder stones. The type of stones also vary from the type of crystal being formed.
Struvite being the easiest to remove since it's able to dissolve with special diet while Oxalate being the hardest as most of them are only removable via surgical methods.
Well, blood isn't uncommon in urine if these stones are sharp enough to injure the inner part of the body.
I'm not that sure if that's the same for humans but that what I know of for these animals.
Tomorrow, my study session have to suceed! I wouldn't want to bury myself in the library on Sunday. Certainly not.Perhaps I could try the Oasis then.
Moreover, I won't be using their facilities even if Centris's all ready but I'm overseas. So here I come. I'll make full use of this privillege given exculsively to Centris owners [in some sense. Alright, I'm owner's daughter]
